Shelstring Jewelry began after Michele Alger passed by a Bead shop
window in downtown Eugene, Oregon on the way to a French course she was taking. After seeing the most beautiful necklace she
had ever seen before, she decided she must learn how to make one for herself. A couple of days later she learned how to create
the necklace with the help of the creator herself. This creation was the beginning of a passion she soon would find herself
expanding into a business. Her love for creating and eye for color, has helped make her work genuinely original and beautiful.
Determined to work with the highest quality available, she has developed not only beautiful creations, but each piece is a
masterpiece that will last a lifetime!
